The Hills Church THRIVE IN '25 Marriage Conference is designed to help married couples grow closer and stronger than ever before! If you're struggling in your marriage, want to become more unified in your marriage, or simply want to grow together in your faith, lives or love, this marriage conference might be just what you need. Kicking off on Valentine's Day, Pastor Matt and Ashten Mizell will co-teach the THRIVE IN '25 conference, and all married couples are welcome to attend. This Christmas season please join us at Christmas with Chevel! The concert is a passion project for Chevel; the event allows her to give back to her community while showing her love for Jesus, her desire to support Christian education and her heart for sharing music. The concert will include Christmas classics, songs off of Chevel's Christmas album and other great music! All concert profits go to Piñon Hills Academy. The concert will be December 20th at 7pm. Maybe you're new around Hills Church and have some questions about faith or are looking to get more connected. Maybe you've been here a while but are wondering what your next steps are at the church or for your faith. Maybe you fall somewhere in between, no matter the case, we'd love to have you join us for NEXT STEPS on Sunday, January 26th from 9:45 - 11:15 AM. We'll share a snack, hear a bit about Hills Church (where we've come from and where we're going), and get to know each others stories. Child care will be provided for kids 5th grade and under in our Kids Ministry.
Child Dedications will be held on May 11th during the 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 AM services. This intentional experience of dedication offers both the parents and their community the opportunity commit to pray for, support and encourage the family in the journey of raising Godly children. Baptism symbolizes how we as Christians join in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3-4) The word “baptized” is translated in the Greek as “to submerge”. This is why we submerge people under the water. We also baptize after a person has become a Christian. We would love for you to make your public profession of faith with us at Hills Church! A Marksman is a "skilled and accurate shooter", but it doesn't matter how skilled or accurate you are if you don't know where you should be aiming. Men ages 18+ are invited to join Pastor Matt's 6-week Marksman Bootcamp course to get personally trained and equipped on how to aim for the life God designed you to live. We are so excited to host Flourish, our second Women's Conference! You will want to reserve your spot for this special weekend. We're in for an empowering and enjoyable weekend as we embark on our journey as moms, wives, and friends. We will have powerful worship, teaching, food, activities and lots of fun! It all starts on Friday, May 2, at 6:30pm and then on Saturday, May 3, at 8:00am. The conference ends at 8:00pm on Saturday night. There are more details to come, but we anticipate this to be a sell-out conference. We can't wait to see you there!
What is a Hills Mentorship? A Hills Mentorship is where someone who is older, wiser and more experienced, can pour into someone who is younger, less experienced, but willing to learn. We’re looking for both mentors and mentees. Mentors are those who will pour into the next generation. Mentees are those who will be poured into, with the hope that they will eventually turn around and become the mentor themselves. If you're interested in learning more fill out the interest form below!
